
Seawolves to Support Spring Pacific Northwest Rugby Football Union Coach Clinics
February 16, 2022 (TUKWILA, WASHINGTON) – As part of the Seattle Seawolves PNW Pathway partnership with Pacific Northwest Rugby Football Union (PNRFU), both organizations are working to bring more development opportunities for regional coaches. This spring, PNRFU will host three clinics in all three of the states they service for PNRFU D1, D2, and D3 coaches with the Seawolves’ support. The clinics will introduce coaches to periodization implementation in season planning as well as how to plan your practice effectively to cover technical, tactical and strategic aspects of the game. The clinics will also offer coaching philosophy discussion and a field session with players to allow for immediate implementation and to check for understanding on clinic curriculum learned in the classroom.
Requirements:
Be an active PNRFU coach and have World Rugby L1 (formerly USAR L200), or higher, certification
Clinic Price:
$30 – PNRFU coaches will be reimbursed by the Union upon clinic completion
When and Where:
Tukwila, WA: Saturday February 19 – Tukwila Community Center
Portland, OR: Sunday March 6 – Happy Valley Middle School
Boise, ID: Sunday, March 20 – Athletic Complex Boise Rugby Club
Clinic Timeline:
Classroom: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm
Field: 1:00 – 4:00 pm
