About
A founding member of Major League Rugby (MLR), the Seattle Seawolves kicked off their inaugural season in 2018 and claimed the first-ever MLR Championship. In 2019, the Seawolves also claimed the second MLR title as well, making them the first back-to-back title holders in MLR history. In 2022, the Seattle Seawolves brought home the MLR Western Conference Championship trophy.
The Seattle Seawolves organization strives to develop, cultivate, and expand the sport of rugby in the US while empowering family, tradition, respect, and a spirit of inclusion both on and off the pitch. The Seattle Seawolves aim to foster a winning culture by enabling its players, staff, and fans to meet their true potential while pursuing excellence in the Major League Rugby competition. Community outreach is a key pillar of the Seawolves philosophy, and the organization strives to continually help to enrich and give back to the greater Seattle and Pacific Northwest areas.
The Seattle Seawolves are the only champion in MLR history to claim back-to-back championships in 2018 and 2019 over the Glendale Raptors and San Diego Legion respectively. The Seawolves are the second team in US sports history to win the first two championships in their respective league and the only back-to-back champions in Seattle’s professional sports history.
