International rugby star, Tevita Kuridrani set to earn his Seawolves cap this April 5th!
We’re thrilled to announce that Seawolves 2024 signed player, making his debut this Friday, April 5th is none other than Tevita “K-Train” Kuridrani!
Tevita comes to Seattle as one of the most decorated rugby players of this generation:
⁃ Kuridrani hails from Fiji and moved to Australia at age 11.
⁃ Competed in Fiji’s Under 20’s team in 2010.
⁃ Debuted for the Aussie 7’s in Dubai.
⁃ Recruited by the Canberra Brumbies in 2012, accumulating 135 caps and 28 tries as their starting center.
⁃ Called up to the Wallabies, Australia’s national team.
⁃ Represented Australia in 61 test caps and scored 22 tries for the Wallabies
⁃ Played in the 2015 and 2019 Rugby World Cups.
⁃ He also played for the Greater Sydney Rams (2014), Western Force (2021), as well as a season with Biarritz Olympique in France (2021) with 22 appearances.
Head Coach Allen Clarke adds “Tevita has worked hard and integrated with the boys brilliantly over the last 5 weeks. He’s clearly a quality player, and we’re all excited to see him perform in the Seawolves jersey on Friday night”
