Mzamo Majola

Born in Durban, Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa, Majola attended Westville Boys High School and represented the Sharks U18 in South Africa’s premier high school competition, Craven Week, in 2013.  He attended the University of KwaZulu-Natal and played for the Sharks XV ­­– debuting for them in 2015 against Western Province. He was selected to South Africa’s U20 squad, and made four appearances in the  2015 World Rugby U20 Championship.

While in the Sharks Academy, he made 19 appearances in the Currie Cup squad. Majalo made the jump to Pro14 competition with the Southern Kings in 2017 before moving to the Sharks in 2018, earning his first Super Rugby contract. Through his experience on the world tournament stage, he brings a depth of rugby knowledge to the front row.
