Jade Stighling

JADE STIGHLING, a skilled South African wing, brings notable speed, evasion, and try-scoring prowess to the Seattle Seawolves. Born in Johannesburg, Stighling’s rugby journey began in high school before moving to Pretoria to join the Blue Bulls Academy in 2012. His professional career took off with the Blue Bulls, where he played through the 2021 season across various competitions, including the Varsity Cup, Supersport Challenge, Currie Cup, Super Rugby, and Super Rugby Unlocked. In 2021, after nine seasons with the Blue Bulls, Stighling signed with the Pumas, where he contributed to their Currie Cup victory in 2022 and a runner-up finish in 2023. Stighling’s move to the Seawolves was met with great enthusiasm by Head Coach Allen “Clarkie” Clarke, who called Stighling “an exciting player, blessed with tremendous speed, evasion, and eye for the try line… sure [to] be a big hit with our fans.”
