Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Isaia Lotawa played D1A rugby at Saint Mary’s College of California from 2018 to 2020. His rugby journey took a detour during the COVID-19 pandemic when he moved to Natotawa, Western Fiji, where he continued to play rugby with the Fiji National Team U-23s and attended the University of the South Pacific. In 2023, Lotawa played 104 minutes across 4 matches for the Seawolves, starting one. He is currently playing for the Seattle Rugby Club and is on the preseason roster against the American Raptors. His experience and talent are valuable assets for the Seawolves as they head into the 2024 Major League Rugby season.
