Wasps’ Neal Makes Move to Seattle, Buzzing for Major League Rugby Opportunity
Seattle, Wash. — The Seattle Seawolves have signed former Wasps’ center, Ross Neal.
Neal, originally from Beaconsfield, England, has played all of his professional rugby to date in his home country. Neal’s track to the professional side
of the game began at London Irish where he was a member of their academy from 2014 to 2017. In 2016, Neal moved to London Scottish on loan where he
ended up full time until 2018. After a standout season with London Scottish, the Wasps picked up Neal for Champions Cup play that progressed into Premiership
opportunities with the club. The 6’5 center and wing specialist brings professional experience beyond his age to the Seawolves’ backline as the team
heads into a highly competitive season in 2020.
“Major League Rugby is a very exciting league to be a part of and from what I’ve heard, the Seawolves have one of the best setups,” said Neal. “When the
opportunity came up to move out to Seattle and play in this League — I had to take it and can’t wait to get started with the team.”
Watch Neal and the Seawolves at Starfire Stadium starting January 2020 with full or half season tickets that can be purchased at www.seattleseawolves.com .
