The Collegiate All-American comes to Seattle after being voted best in position by FloRugby.com

SEATTLE – The Seattle Seawolves have announced the signing of University of Louisville prop,
LaRome White.
“I am excited for the addition of LaRome to our forward pack,” said Head Coach Tony Healy.
“We will be depending on him to help set a dominant platform. His speed and power will lend itself nicely to the style of rugby we are looking to play.”
White grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and was a standout football player while attending Eastern High School. After being introduced to rugby through the
Middletown Warriors in 2010, White quickly fell in love with the sport and took his bruising style of play to the University of Louisville. White played
at center his freshman year in 2012 before moving to prop in his sophomore year. It was in the prop position where he excelled, and in 2016 had the
opportunity to hone his skills at the Sharks Academy in South Africa under the tutelage of South African Springbok prop, Tendai Mtawarira. For his
efforts, White was invited to the 2017 Collegiate All-American camp and in 2017 was voted best in position for D1-AA by FloRugby.com.
“I’m thankful to have the opportunity to play for Seattle,” said White. “It has been my dream to play professional rugby and I thank the Seawolves for
giving me a chance to step up and help grow the game of Rugby.”
The Seattle Seawolves inaugural season kicks off on April 22 against the San Diego Legion at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila. Tickets are available now by
