Seawolves Sign Six-Time All-American Vili Toluta’u
Captaining the Central Washington Men’s Rugby team for four years, Vili is ready for the next step of his career: Major League Rugby

SEATTLE – The Seattle Seawolves have announced the signing of six-time All-American and Central Washington University senior, Vili
Toluta’u.
Vili’s rugby career started back on the islands of Hawaii, suiting up for the Maui Warriors. His potential was identified early on as he was selected to
the Boys High School All-Americans for two consecutive years before heading to Central Washington University (CWU) on a rugby scholarship. Toluta’u
continued gathering age-grade accolades for the Junior and Collegiate All-Americans, touring for each side twice. Vili has been a consistent stand
out at CWU, captaining the team for four of the years he has been there. The hooker also represented his country for the developmental sevens side,
the USA Falcons, at the Las Vegas Invitational. The physical stepper is excited to play rugby at the highest level of domestic competition through
Major League Rugby for the Seattle Seawolves.
“Signing with the Seawolves gives me the opportunity to increase my skills and develop my knowledge of the game further so I can be the best that I can
be. Growing up in Maui, Hawaii, there were no youth teams at that time,” Toluta’u stated. “But now the game has grown, and I want the youth back home
to have something to look forward to, knowing they too can compete at a high-level just like the rest of the United States.”
