SEATTLE – The Seattle Seawolves are excited to announce the signing of Seattle Viking alumni and longtime Seattle Rugby member, Daniel Trierweiler.
Daniel was fortunate enough to begin his rugby career as a senior in high school, finding the sport with the Seattle Vikings. After high school, and
after falling in love with the game, Trierweiler’s next move was to join Seattle RFC. Getting a taste of international experience for a season
in the British Columbia league with Seattle led him to want to expand further and landed in Auckland with the Ponsonby U-21 squad. While in New
Zealand for a season, his game knowledge increased drastically and gathered a better understanding of the flow of the game. Upon his return to
Seattle, he competed in the former Super League competition from 2009-2012 with Old Puget Sound Beach. Just wrapping up his 12th year with the
Seattle Saracens (formerly Seattle OPSB), Dan provides the tactical skills needed in his position and smart open field play to the Seawolves forward
pack.

“As you can imagine, the opportunity to not only play professional rugby – but to do so in my hometown where it all began, is as exciting as it gets,”
said Trierweiler. “I want to thank the Seawolves for giving me that opportunity that and my family and friends for all their support.”
