Seawolves Hunt Down SaberCats, Crowned 2022 Western Conference Champions
June 18, 2022 (TUKWILA, WASHINGTON) – The Seattle Seawolves traveled to Houston, Texas for the 2022 Major League Rugby Western Conference Final versus the Houston SaberCats. Carrying their three-win momentum into the Conference Final, Seattle outscored the scrappy SaberCats to advance to the MLR Championship. 46-27, Seattle.
• Seattle remains undefeated in playoffs, going 6-0 in their three post season appearances
• Flyhalf AJ Alatimu added to his successful goal kicking tally to maintain his League leading status, converting 59 kicks this season
• The Seawolves head to their third MLR Championship match, with the chance to win their third title in five seasons
