Seattle Unites: Join Macklemore and the Seattle Seawolves for a Night of Rugby and Charity

We are excited to announce an extraordinary event on Friday, May 24th, as the Seattle Seawolves take on Old Glory DC at 7:30 PM PT. This special night, known as “Seattle Unites,” is proudly presented by Bridges and the Seattle Seawolves in conjunction with Macklemore. It’s not just about the game; it’s about making a positive impact in our community.

Supporting Bridges Charity

At the heart of this event is Bridges, a Seattle-based grassroots organization dedicated to providing a safe, sober space for teens in recovery. Bridges offers vital peer support and empowers youth to reimagine their futures in a healthy and supportive environment. By participating in this event, you’re helping to shine a light on their mission and provide much-needed support for these young individuals.

Event Highlights

While the thrilling rugby match between the Seattle Seawolves and Old Glory DC is sure to be a highlight, the night features much more. Macklemore’s involvement brings an extra layer of excitement and star power, amplifying the message and mission of Bridges. Pre-match activities include an autograph table with Seawolves players, as well as a curtain-raiser match between Army and Navy teams.

Military Night Celebrations

In honor of Military Night, we’re celebrating the brave members of the military who sacrifice for our country. Military-themed events include a national anthem performance by Tricia Scheer, a color guard presentation by Seattle Rugby Club Military Veterans, and a special tug-of-war contest at halftime. There will also be a 50/50 raffle with the Army Rugby Union and silent auction items, including an Army rifle and Navy saber.
