FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
April 27, 2018
SEATTLE -The Seattle Seawolves are excited to announce the signing former San Franscisco Golden Gate and Current Korean National Team member, Andre Jin
Kim Coquillard.
A well-traveled player, Andre’s first accolades began at Brentwood College School in 2008 and 2009 when the team took the Provincial Champions titles back-to-back
years. He also spent time some with the USA U17s before heading to the University of California – Berkeley and suiting up for the Golden Bears. The
last time Coquillard put boots to an American pitch was for San Francisco Golden Gate in the 2014 Pacific Rugby Premiership Championship that Gate
claimed. Andre has spent the last three years playing abroad for the Korean 7s and XVs National TeamSpeak, as well as the Korean Armed Forces Athletic
Corps. The Major League Rugby opportunity brought him back to the states, where his height in the line outs and well-seasoned decision making will
add another dynamic backrower to the Seawolves forward park.
“I am delighted to join a very talented and hardworking Seattle Seawolves squad,” said Andre. “It is an honor to represent Seattle on and off the field
and I look forward to contributing towards a Championship this season. Thank you so much to Seattle and the local Rugby community for your support.
We are privileged to have the best rugby fans in North America!”
