Seawolves Mourn the Passing of Toronto Arrows President and General Partner Bill Webb
A message from Adrian Balfour, Seawolves’ Chairman:
“We are profoundly saddened by the passing of Bill Webb, a luminary in the rugby world, this past Monday. The news comes as a shock to us all, as Bill was not only a valued collaborator but also a cherished friend. His struggle, which he faced privately, underscores his remarkable fortitude.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Bill’s family and the entire Toronto Arrows organization during this incredibly challenging period. Bill’s contributions were significant and widespread, and his absence will be keenly felt by everyone who had the honor of interacting with him.
The Seattle community is particularly shaken and mournful over his passing. Bill was a dedicated partner and a passionate supporter of rugby, and his departure leaves a void that will be difficult to fill. We ask that you join us in offering prayers and positive thoughts to his family during this time of immense grief. Although Bill is no longer with us, his indelible legacy will endure in the hearts and memories of all who were lucky enough to know him.”
In lieu of flowers, the Webb Family respectfully requests a donation be made in memory of Bill to the Toronto Inner-City Rugby Foundation (https://tirfrugby.ca/make-a-difference/donate/), the Canadian Cancer Society (https://cancer.ca/en/) or True Patriot Love (https://truepatriotlove.com/).
