April Community Catch Up
What an exciting and important month April was as we got out into the community in a variety of ways, however nothing got our heart rates more elevated then the 102 kids that attended our April Run With The Pack event before our match up against Dallas Jackals. Thank you to all the parents and kids that made it such an enriching experience for all, to see kids from 5-12 yrs learning the foundations of rugby.Â
Our next Run With The Pack is happening this Friday, May 3rd – so register your kid/s now to enjoy another round of fun and skills based activities and of course stay to cheer on your Seawolves as we go up against MLR newcomers Anthem Rugby Carolina.
Great State Burger – April 10thÂ
Our players enjoyed a round of delicious burgers, before signing over 100 posters for new and current fans at this autograph signing event.
Bogey Boys – April 12thÂ
Our players attended a special networking evening at Bogey Boys, the golf and lifestyle brand created by Seattle rapper, Macklemore. It was a fantastic evening of networking, shopping and of course a little bit of competitive golf on the big screen.

Earth Day at Concord Elementary School – April 22nd
Thank you to our friends in the Seattle Professional Sports community and everyone who joined Rucky and myself for the Earth Day 2024 celebration at Concord Elementary. We were honored to work in partnership with the Seahawks, Sounders, Reign FC, Mariners, Kraken and Storm to surprise and delight the kids with the news that they are going to receive a new Concord Pumas Playfield. During our activation we were able to inspire hundreds of elementary school kids to get outdoors and learn to pass a rugby ball.Â
Washington Athletic Club Open House – April 24thÂ
Our team was at it again, spreading awareness about rugby and the Seawolves to over 1000 attendees at the WAC Open House event, this time teaching adults to pass. It was a fantastic event with many connections made.Â
As we return rested and ready to go from our bye week we look forward to an exciting month ahead and venturing into some new territories with a booth at the upcoming Sneaker Expo and introducing rugby to the families and friends of JBLM MWR.Â
