Brian Jones, CEO & Minority Owner

Brian Jones, CEO and Minority Owner of the Seattle Seawolves, began his career in Denver, CO, in 1994, working for the Denver Nuggets. He held several key positions in season ticket sales and corporate partnerships, including Vice President of Sponsorship and Advertising Sales. During this time, he contributed to the success of the Denver Nuggets, the two-time Stanley Cup Champion Colorado Avalanche, McNichols Arena, and Pepsi Center from 1994 to 2001.

From 2001 to 2003, Brian served as the Vice President of Sales for Pikes Peak International Raceway in Fountain, CO, before relocating to Seattle. In Seattle, he joined the team of the Seattle Seahawks, CenturyLink Field, WaMu Theater, and Sounders FC as Director of Sales for Corporate Partnerships, serving from 2003 to 2012. His career progressed further in 2013 when he was promoted to Managing Director of Corporate Partnerships for both the Seahawks and Sounders FC, and in 2014, he became the Vice President of Business Development with Sounders FC. In each role, Brian led teams to exceed expectations in generating new revenue/partnership growth and ensuring partner satisfaction and retention.

In late 2016, Brian tapped into his entrepreneurial spirit, reminiscent of several entrepreneurs in the Jones Family, and launched Consulting Jones, LLC. This venture was established to provide advice and contribute to a wide variety of organizations in strategic partnership planning, new business development, and sponsorship optimization in sports, venues, non-profits, and event spaces. Notable past and current clients of Consulting Jones, LLC include Q13 FOX, the Seattle Seawolves Rugby Club, WaFd Bank, Seattle Pride, Scorebook Live, Pacific Science Center, Caravel Marketing (on behalf of the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games, Paris Panthers, and Blakeway Worldwide Panoramas), among others. Brian currently holds the positions of:

  • CEO & Minority Owner of the Seattle Seawolves Rugby Club
  • Sports and Media Consultant for WaFd Bank via Consulting Jones, LLC
  • Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Tulane University. He has been recognized as a finalist for the 2015 Major League Soccer Corporate Partnership Executive of the Year Award and led the team that won the 2016 MLS Corporate Partnership Team of the year. Additionally, Brian serves as a commissioner for the Seattle Sports Commission, has served on the board of Communities in Schools of Washington, and was part of the Executive Leadership Team for the 2016 Seattle Heart Walk. He resides in Lake Forest Park with his wife, Megan, and daughter, Tatum.
