Ryan Rees

Ryan Rees hails from Austin, TX, where he started playing rugby as a junior in high school. He thought his rugby days would be over after high school, but once he met a Life University coach at a tournament, his plans quickly changed. At Life, Rees won back-to-back D1A National Championships in 2018 and 2019, where he was honored as MVP of the final. Drafted by Rugby ATL in 2021, his tenure included international play with the USA Falcons XV in South Africa. Later in the year, he made his debut with the USA Eagles against Kenya, winning 68-14. Rees’ experience is extensive, with participation in the Rugby World Cup Qualifiers for the USA Rugby Men’s National Team and a total of 639 minutes across 14 matches in the Rugby ATL 2023 season, emphasizing his skill and dedication to the sport.
