September 11, 2023 (TUKWILA, WASHINGTON) – Toni Pulu joins the Seattle Seawolves, making his debut in the US and MLR, in the 2024 season.
“It’s exciting to have an American born player of Toni’s caliber and experience join the squad for 2024. He’s an impressive winger who loves to score tries and I know his knowledge of playing in Super Rugby will be invaluable to our younger outside backs. We welcome Toni, his wife Donna, and daughters Hope & Harper to the Seawolves family” – Allen “Clarkie” Clarke, Head Coach and Director of Rugby
Born in California, Pulu and his family moved to New Zealand when he was three. In 2012, he began his professional career in New Zealand, playing for the Counties Manukau Steelers. Pulu’s made his Super Rugby debut in 2016, with the Chiefs, by scoring a try his first time out . He remained with the Chiefs until 2018, when he moved to the Brumbies in Australia, then joining Western Force in 2021.
