1. Seattle Times Best in PNW Awards: Best Seattle Sports Team 2024
Our Seattle Seawolves are proud to be recognized as the Best Seattle Sports Team in 2024 by the Seattle Times’ Best in PNW Awards. This award is a testament to our fans, our hard work, and our commitment to excellence. We are deeply grateful to the community for their continued support as we strive to uphold the highest standards both on and off the field.
2. Devin Short Sharing Rugby with the Next Generation
This month, Seawolves player Devin Short spent time inspiring the next generation of rugby enthusiasts. Whether through school visits or community events, Devin has been leading by example, showing kids that rugby is not only a sport of passion and skill but also teamwork and camaraderie. His dedication to youth outreach embodies the spirit of the Seawolves family.
3. Getting Our Hands Dirty at the DNDA Restoration Event
At the DNDA (Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association) Restoration Event, the Seawolves were honored to help restore and preserve Seattle’s natural beauty. Our players and staff rolled up their sleeves alongside volunteers, contributing to habitat restoration efforts. It was a meaningful way for the team to give back to the environment that surrounds and supports us.
4. Seawolves at Kenmore Oktoberfest: Teaching Rugby to the Youth
The Seawolves were thrilled to join the Kenmore Oktoberfest celebration, where we brought the spirit of rugby to the youth in attendance. With hands-on activities and demonstrations, the event allowed us to connect with local families and teach children the basics of the sport in a fun, engaging way. We loved every minute of sharing our passion for rugby with the next generation!
5. Western Conference Trophy Appearance at Seattle Rugby Club Match
Last Saturday, the Seawolves’ Western Conference Trophy made a special appearance at the Seattle Rugby Club’s match, along with several Seawolves players and staff. It was a great opportunity for rugby fans to get up close to the trophy and interact with some of their favorite players. The Seawolves’ presence underscored the growing connection between the club and the local rugby community.
