SEATTLE –The Seattle Seawolves are excited to announce the signing of the former University of Michigan Wolverine and Seattle Saracen,
Cole Van Harn.
Cole began his rugby career in his home state at the University of Michigan, playing for the Wolverines in both fifteens and sevens formats. He was a part
of the Big Ten title-winning team in 2014 and made the sevens roster for Michigan’s back-to-back Collegiate Rugby Championship. In efforts to raise
his game, Van Harn spent one summer between college years in Wellington, New Zealand with Poneke Football Club. After graduation, like many of his
fellow Wolverines, he moved to Seattle and continued his rugby career with the Seattle Saracens. Adding more international experience to his resume,
Cole has played in almost 50 matches in the BC Rugby league for the Saracens. One of the younger players on the team, Cole has a promising rugby career
ahead of him and brings a strong foundation in the contact area to the Seawolves.
“I’m very excited for the opportunity to compete at this level, said Van Harn. “Furthering my growth as an individual while being surrounded by some of
the best that this sport has to offer is a dream come true.”
