SEATTLE – The Seattle Seawolves have announced the signing of Melbourne Rebels’
tighthead prop, Tim Metcher.
“Tim brings valuable experience to our forward pack,” said Coach Healy. ” He is a world-class scrummager who knows how to play ball. The Seawolves are
strengthened with another high caliber person and player.”
Tim Metcher was born October 10th 1991, in Maroubra, Australia. He began playing rugby early and went on to captain and represent the state of New South
Wales in the Australian Schools Rugby Championships. In 2011 he was selected for the Australian U-20 national team and played in the 2011 IRB Junior

Combined NSW-QLD Country team. He made his Super Rugby debut in 2015 when he signed with the Melbourne Rebels and has bolstered their forward pack
since then before signing on to play with the Seattle Seawolves.
“I’m very excited about the opportunity to join the Seawolves and be a part of an exciting new era of professional rugby in North America,” said Metcher.
“The coaching staff has put together a very talented squad and I’m looking forward to adding what I can to the team.”
