MACK MASON JOINS SEATTLE SEAWOLVES
Mack Mason grew up in Queensland, Australia, ranching and wrangling cattle. It should be no surprise then, that Mack took those skills and applied them to the pitch, leading his teams as fly half.
Mason’s professional career began in 2015 playing for Queensland Country in the National Rugby Championship (NCR), an Australian rugby union competition. He continued playing within the NCR for the next four years, also playing for the Greater Sydney Rams and NSW Country Eagles.
“It’s great to secure the signature of Mack for the 2024 season, knowing the interest he had from several MLR clubs. He’s a quality person and a leader, with excellent game understanding and the full repertoire of skills for flyhalf. I know our fans will love what he brings to the team, and we’re delighted to welcome Mack and his wife Elle-Jay to the Seawolves family.” -Allen “Clarkie” Clarke
In 2021, Mason made his move to the MLR, playing for the Austin Gilgronis. With Austin he made 27 appearances, scoring 183 points. Mack will turn in his cowboy boots in 2024 to join the Seawolves and don a pair of rugby boots.
“I am excited to meet you all. I know the support out there is great. I can’t wait to rip in and see how far we can get in this competition. I know we’ll go a long way.” -Mack Mason #10
