Lalasava Clinches MLR Opportunity with Seattle Seawolves
The well-rounded back brings a blend of international and domestic competition experience to the reigning MLR Champions.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
January 26, 2019
SEATTLE, WA –The Seattle Seawolves are excited to announce the signing of former Seattle Saracen, Moses Lalasava.
Originally from Suva, Fiji, Moses started playing rugby at the age of 6 years old. His competitive rugby career began in 2008 where he started his seven-year
stint with Queen Victoria School Old Boys (QVSOB). During the offseason for QVSOB, Moses also played rugby league for the Steelers (2011-13) and Rabbitos
(2012-15). In 2015, Lalasava moved to Seattle and began to play for the Seattle Saracens in the British Columbia Rugby Premiership. Tough competition
north of the border has helped season the center-wing with four years of B.C. competition with the Saracens. Moses brings dynamic pass-ability with
his offloads and shifty footwork into coverage in the Seawolves’ back three positions.
“I am honored to join and play with some of the big names in the rugby arena,” said Lalasava. “I can’t wait to add and contribute to the winning culture
and defend the title with my Seawolves brothers.”
