August 2026 | Marinascope at the Des Moines Marina | Explore Seattle Southside with the Seattle Seawolves

The August feature of the Explore Seattle Southside 2026 Calendar takes the Seattle Seawolves to the Des Moines Marina, where Divan Rossouw and Dan Kriel visit the Marinascope sculpture and experience one of the area’s most unique waterfront landmarks. The stop highlights the blend of art, scenery, and community spaces that define Seattle Southside during the summer months.

Created by local artist George C. Scott, Marinascope invites visitors to step inside and look through colorful glass windows that frame the marina from new perspectives. The calendar feature captures a quieter moment for the players, showing how exploration and creativity play a role in connecting with the region beyond rugby. It is a reminder that some of the best experiences come from slowing down and seeing familiar places in a different way.

The Explore Seattle Southside calendar series follows Seawolves players across Des Moines, SeaTac, and Tukwila throughout the year, spotlighting destinations that range from local restaurants and parks to cultural attractions and public art. Each month gives fans a new reason to explore while offering a closer look at the team away from matchday.

Fans who want to follow the full journey can purchase the official Seawolves Explore Seattle Southside 2026 Calendar through the team store.
