William began his rugby career early on thanks to his father and a traveling childhood, playing for the Golden Cats and East Palo Alto Razorbacks. Holder
committed to the United States Military Academy at West Point where he continued his rugby career for the Black Knights. During his time at West Point,
he entered the United States Men’s National Team pool and got his first XVs cap in 2012. As William gained more experience on the pitch, his accolades
continued to grow, suiting up for the All-Army 7s for the first time in 2013 and for the US Men’s 7s team in 2014.
Holder remains in the National Team player pool for both XVs and 7s and continues to represent the All-Army 7s side at their tournaments throughout the
year. He is a current member of the U.S. Military’s World Class Athlete Program (WCAP), making him the second WCAP player added to the Seawolves roster.
The flyhalf/fullback brings valuable experience, leadership, and a strong boot to Seattle’s backline.
