This week, we stepped away from the pitch and into something even more powerful. Together with our friends at Happy Bundles, Dan and Candice Kriel, we visited Seattle Children’s Hospital to spend time with kids and families who are facing challenges no one should have to face alone and supporting the staff who do so much.
Happy Bundles is an incredible nonprofit that creates personalized gift packages for children fighting cancer. Their mission is to deliver joy and comfort during treatment, and we were proud to help bring that mission to life.
Earlier this season we partnered with Happy Bundles to host a toy drive at our Kids night at Starfire and our amazing fans brought toys of all shapes and sizes and for all ages to support this special day.
Because of our fans' generosity, we walked in with boxes full of toys, activity kits, and Seawolves gear. What we walked away with was something even greater: perspective, connection, and some unforgettable moments.
One child lit up as we handed him a toy truck, racing it down a bench while we cheered him on like it was the championship match. In another room, a young fan asked for every autograph he could get, and we gladly delivered. Every room brought a different moment, but the feeling was the same: this is why we do what we do.
These kids showed us what real strength looks like. We came in hoping to lift their spirits, but the truth is, they lifted ours. Their courage, smiles, and energy reminded us of the bigger picture.
We’re grateful to Seattle Children’s for opening their doors to us, to our fans for their never ending support and to Happy Bundles for making it all possible. This wasn’t just a visit. It was a reminder of our responsibility—to our fans, our city, and the communities we represent.
We'll keep pushing for wins on the pitch. But experiences like this remind us what it truly means to lead, to give back, and to stand for something bigger than sport.
