Seattle Seawolves Rugby 2022 Schedule Announced, Tickets on Sale Now
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON (November 9, 2021) – The Seattle Seawolves 2022 schedule has been released and the 16-match Major League Rugby (MLR) regular season includes home matches Thursdays-Sundays, week 9 and 16 byes, and a cross-conference, regular season home-opener against Toronto. The 2022 season marks the two-time MLR champions’ fifth season as one of the seven founding members of the League in 2018.
Head coach and director of rugby Allen ‘Clarkie’ Clarke and general manager Pate Tuilevuka have been working tirelessly in the offseason to secure the core group of players on multi-year deals and continue to round out the 2022 roster. The season will kick off with two home preseason matches at Starfire Stadium on January 22 and 27, opponents and kick off times to be announced later.
Seawolves’ regular season ends on the road in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 5. Post season will see the number one seed in the Western Conference earn an automatic spot in the MLR Western Conference Final on June 18/19. The number one seed will face the winner of the Western Conference Semi-finals between number two and number three on June 11/12. The MLR Championship will take place on June 25/26.
