SEATTLE- The Seattle Seawolves have announced the signing of Prairie Wolf Pack center and 2015 CRC champion, Mozac Samson.
“Mozac’s speed and agility is a strong addition to our back line. We are happy to have him join the Seawolves family.” said coach Tony Healy.
Mozac Samson was born in Fiji and began playing rugby at an early age. After moving to Calgary, Alberta in 2005 to continue his education, he began playing
for the Calgary Saints Rugby Football Club and Prairie Wolf Pack in 2009. He was part of the Canadian Sevens training squad from 2011 until 2015 before
he was called up in 2016 to the Canadian 15s squad to play in the Americas Rugby Championship. In 2015, he won the Canadian Rugby Championship with
the Prairie Wolf Pack while earning the title of top try scorer for the tournament.
“I am humbled and honored by the opportunity to play for the Seattle Seawolves; a team with an already impressive group of players and exceptional coaching
staff,” says Samson “it’s amazing to play in the inaugural season of MLR and I am looking forward to seeing the league grow and expand – this league
will provide so many opportunities to develop North American players into a force on the world stage.”
